Original Kieninger JM 13 Movement model four-glass portico-style mechanical table or mantel clock. Made in Germany, 9 Jewels adjusted, with 3 chimes including St. Michael, West Minister, and Whittington.

Burlwood-veneered wood sections with shiny brass pillars and transparent glass panels showing skeleton movement on all sides.

Measures 12" tall x 9 3/4" x 5 1/2"

Excellent working condition.

Comes with instructions (in German, could be translated on Google) and certificate, as photographed. Certificate translated to English reads:

"With this distinctive original Kieninger table clock—"Design by Schroll"—you own a particularly valuable piece of genuine, traditional clockmaking artistry.

The housing is made of solid brass. The brass parts are ground and polished, and coated with stove enamel.

The wooden parts are veneered with burr wood; the surface is hand-sanded and high-gloss polished.

The heart of this clock is a polished 4/4 J-type chime movement featuring three melodies (Westminster, St. Michael, and Whittington). The chiming mechanism is automatically silenced between 10:00 PM and 7:15 AM.

The precise timing is regulated by a gold-plated, 9-jewel escapement.

The gold-plated chapter ring, featuring hand-milled Breguet-style hands, reveals a view of the polished movement and its mechanism.

The production run of this watch is limited to 249 pieces worldwide. Each piece is hand-signed by the designer.

You own copy no. 71.
