Wonderful Mexican folk art Milagros hand carved wood cross.
The surface is densely covered with small, stamped brass and copper metal charms representing body parts, animals, sacred symbols and more used for prayer and healing. A prominent, winged cherub or guardian angel face is centered at the intersection of the cross. Dark wood cross is painted in green at back.
